Chesterfield Preview

Jack Lester has just recovered from injury and was an unused sub at home to Bradford this Saturday. Nevertheless he has 15 goals this season second only to Aaron McLean. He is arguably the most lethal finisher outside the top flight and well capable of playing at Championship level. Chesterfield won at MK and are on a good away run. I should think he will start against Stanley.

To play 3-5-2 against them would be to play into their hands. Their assistant manager, a match summariser at the Rotherham match, told Radio Sheffield how our players were "not coping" with it (not that there was anything "wrong" with the players themselves) and how it could easily be exploited by playing the ball into the gaps left behind our wing backs.

We will need to play 4-4-2 and keep it tight in central defence to stand any chance.
