Talking of "Merry Christmas", Kingston City Council has come up with a really good idea (the second in three years, the first was building the skating rink behind City Hall, council's ideas usually suck). From now until Christmas Eve anyone with parking tickets to pay can pay with a toy (unwrapped, no batteries, and no war toys). The city will then give the toys to the annual "Toys for Kids" program which gives toys to kids from poorer families. I've got about $80 in outstanding tickets, so I think I will go toy shopping tomorrow.
