i think they get paid 3K more which is the london living allowance...

thing is they're not exactly out on the dogs so to speak - its a good wage. tahts why they get so much application when they recruit.

but if it comes to public opinion and they actually realised how much they get i dont think many people wud support them as much as say if the nurses went on strike or the firemen.

i think both those are much more respected than the police but i guess they want a piece of the speeding camera's wages too
