Ramadan did finish a while ago and there was an Eid following it. That was that Eid which is a different Eid. This Eid is a celebration to do with Abraham and Isaac. There is only one Ramadan but 2 Eids.
A Muslim friend once said to me "You know like you Christians have Easter and Christmas, well we Muslims have Eid and Eid."  This one is Eid ul-Adha. The other one was Eid ul-Fitr. They are both moveable in relation to the Gregorian calendar. |
