Getting There.......
Some of you will know that back in August I lost my job and face the doldrums of unemployment, not the best move I’ve made over the years, more so when I was told I didn’t qualify for benefits, anyway I thought it was time I let those who might be interested how things have gone..
I’m a bit of a fussy ****** and have high expectations of my employers, to me the world is black and White with now’t between and I like things right, more so because my work over the past 20 years as been Domiciliary Care, caring for older people and vulnerable adults in the community, with regret my past employers have never really met with expectation and I’ve thrown in the towel as an employee…
In September I registered my own company with Company’s House and set about finding finance, I had to change my bank (Lloyds TSB) as the one I spent 15 years in didn’t want to know because I was a risk? So I went to RBS who also said I was a risk but gave my 15K to go with the 5K I already had from my Family. Anyway, it’s now December and despite difficulties with the likes of BT I have invested heavily in my office and support systems, my registration with the Commission for Social Care Inspection is in and on the way to completion with means I could be operational towards the end of January….
I have spent the last 10 years as a manager and adviser to other people who have always tended to put profit before anything else, now I have a chance to give something back and provide the care and support that I believe people should receive without compromise. I’ll let you know how things go….
