You were right to send it on because if it had been genuine you could have saved someone - as it is it's a hoax and no one's harmed.

The advise to be careful with your drinks is always good.

When I used to go out drinking the one to watch out for was the simple adding of shorts to your drink - like someone throwing a double vodka in your beer or something like that - got the girl good and drunk. Things have moved on a lot with date rape drugs etc so it's even more essential to be careful!
