why did coleman make a fuss about Boco playing for Benin in the African nations if he hasnt selected the lad?

Personally, I hope Boco goes to the African Nations with the full support of the club and fans.
Its well known the African Nations is used by alot of players to help get a move elsewhere - lets hope Boco doesnt follow the trend.
IMO, he is our most naturally gifted player.
