My personal favourite was going to Halifax in our second conference season. I went as a steward as we had to steward our own fans coz Fax didn't have enough to cover the away end!!!
As it turns out they didn't have enough to cover their home end either and I got draughted down in front of all Fax fans behind the goal. After about 20 mins Jaggers scored with an absolute peach of a volley, it was all I could do not to levitate!!!!
According to my mate whos a Fax fan and was stood in the home end, when we scored I planted my hands as far down in my pockets as possible and rocked forward onto my tiptoes, whilst all the time looking at the floor to hide the huge grin on my face!!! After about 10 seconds I remembered I had ASFC Steward written on the front and back of my hi-viz jacket!!! I've never been so aware of a 1000+ people staring at me in my life!!!!
I'll never forget that!!!
