All Gary Peters has done now is what a lot of managers do, if they can't have their own way they release details to the press to cause bad feeling. The end result is they end up getting the player because they have unsettled him or the player goes elsewhere.

Bad manners in my view from Peters and to be fair to the club they only really need to put it on the fishy site if a) PM signs a new contract or b) They have sold him.
