I'm afraid, with Dunbavin, that silk purses and sows' ears spring to mind. No amount of coaching will turn him into a good goalkeeper. He's too small, has no command of his area no presence in the air and he gives his defence the jitters. It was noticeable how no-one trusted him when he came out to try to claim the ball yesterday.
As I said on this forum about a year ago, when his extended run in the side coincided with our awful spell: he wasn't good enough for Shrewsbury, Morecambe, Halifax, Scarborough - why would we be any different?
Still... I did think it was thoughtful of him to give the ball a little wave as it sailed past him for their second goal!
