I don't doubt Mick was doing it for the right reasons, but it really isn't his place to suggest people come to a certain place at a certain time, or post money off, therefore proving their commitment to the site, is it?
And besides, it
had already been stated by him previously that it was not an option! Confusing.
Regarding the party, you really can't make people do what they don't want to do. Just because they post on here doesn't mean they
have to meet up. I'm really sorry you lost money and feel let down by certain people, but it was always a risk you took, and nothing to do with the majority of us.
