That's so true. We've had our differences of opinion, mainly over political matters, but there was always a mutual respect for each other's point of view, and like you say, when it comes down to it, silly arguments pale into insignificance when other things come into play, such as good health.
By the way, I'm not suggesting the death threats I received are in anyway connected with the then former leader of the local National Front, more likely to be from the idiots who supported him. For one thing they were appallingly written, and they were made up of letters cut out of a newspaper, which made them look like the sleeve notes from a punk rock record.
