That's exactly what I was thinking, Blazey. That's why I want to see the story for myself. I find it very hard to believe that the words Mummy and Daddy will actually be BANNED. This can't be done. I am Mummy and no-one will be able to ban that word from my children's vocabulary.
I think that teachers are just trying to be sensitive to those who don't live with Mummy and Daddy by addressing their carers as parents.
