If a mother commits a crime, she should get the same sentence as a fella would, if there are children involved, they should go to the father, grandparents or any reletive fit to look after them, if there are no suitable rellies, then into care. If this was the case and mothers new it, then perhaps the statistics would be lower, usual pussy footing over criminals and prisons in this country is why the statistics are so high.
