Our Uncle Stan
Was an Accrington man.
‘E was big, ‘e was ‘airy,
‘E was not a big fairy,
‘E’d a tackle as ‘ard
As me mam’s back yard.
‘E was virile an’ manly,
Was Accrington Stanley.
