Just thought that I had to say something really positive that has come out of being a member on this site.
Been a member for almost 3 years and with attending meets have got to know quite a few on here... but wanted to say a special thanks to one member in particular
SPARKOLOGIST..yes he will prob hate me for doing this but ..
thanks to him, my son gained a work placement at his workplace... learning how an engineering firm works and all things electrical.
Well he had a fantastic two weeks and learnt an awful lot including from you sparks
and made the decision that electrical was his future (was leaning that way anyway).
Well at the end of it he was given a very positive report back to school but also they have said when he has finished his GCSE's (will be doing them next year), grades allowing they will support his application for a place with training 2000 for one year with an option of an apprenticeship afterwards...how good is that
Oh I'm so proud
