Crikey that article is even more confusing than the first one!
It sounds like she was certainly too drunk to be in charge of a baby at the very least but there's reference to there being other people who could have done it and her lawyer says there's evidence that she didn't purposely kill the baby. What crossed my mind was that in a drunken state she had some ludicrous idea that wrapping the baby up in a blanket and putting it in the microwave would keep it warm! Maybe that was what she meant when she said if her boyfriend had been there it wouldn't have happened.
I can't help asking myself if this woman is perhaps intelligently challenged as they put it these days - or in other words a bit thick and really not capable of looking after a baby at all.
