But, secondly, this sneering attitude seems a little unnecessary to me (and one that is not shared by many fans who have posted on here, telling us what a great day out they had at the FES). Yes, we are a small club with limited facilities, no money and small crowds. But we have as much right to be in the football league as anyone else - we got there on merit and our ground was passed as fit for league standards. Those who would deny us a place in the league seem to be subscribing to the worst kind of elitism in my opinion.

I can usually only see Stanley play away when they are down south (looking forward to going to the Brentford match on Saturday
), but on my one and only (so far) trip to the Fraser Eagle Stadium, I had a great day and loved the atmosphere, which was very friendly and welcoming. Long may this continue !!!
