JB your garden is lovely, I agree with Glasgow guy about planting the bulbs a bit too close together, so the roots are going to all be fighting for the moisture, which judging by the look of the earth, is not plentiful.
I think it's promising though, so I hope you'll get the rest planted and we can see more pictures
our garden is rubbish compared to yours
