Which area is it ? Not all Travelodges are of the same standard .. especially the older ones which need refurbishment. I like them because nobody bothers you and, on departure, no queuing at reception. Problem is, not usually a restaurant and dependent on nearest pub, etc. Will serve continental breakfast however, but suppose in a Bed and Breakfast will get a decent first meal if that is what you want. I never wanted to be bothered with other people after a hard day's driving and you may come across this in a B & B. Lots of them now have 'spekd' up so could be really enjoyable for a long term stay.

Holiday Express are a little more expensive, but usually have some sort of eating facility available in the evening, although more of cafe type.
