The hair dryer went kaput because it wasn't designed to be used for the long period of time needed to defrost.
A hand held steam machine works better and sterlizes the fridge or freezer innards at the same time.
I have got myself a frost free fridge freezer now so will never have to defrost ever again - the wonder of technological advances
I have heard that completely wire free computers are on the way - not soon enough for me - had yet another spaghetti experience today
