The wearing of the uniform outside of a base should be allowed but for good reason and by permission only.
It was always nice to see members of the military proudly wearing their uniforms at weddings etc. I think those days are over and done with though.
In 2008 is it really wise to let every Tom Dick and would be terrorist know that you are in the forces ?
