My parents live in Huncoat Village. The village is fine, the bad area is the Within Grove estate which is the other side of the railway line....well it's not even in Huncoat at all, it's in Accrington but for some reason it gets referred to as being in Huncoat, giving Huncoat a bad name.
My parents live very near the Bluebell Way estate and there are no problems with travellers, the travellers site is at the bottom of Whinney Hill tip.
It's very quiet round there. My parents go in the Black Bull pub wihich is noce and friendly.
