Of course the papers should have been sued for printing incorrect information to make the McCanns look bad. The money is going to the fund so I see nothing wrong with that. The onus should not be on the McCanns to prove their innocence. Nothing has come to light to prove them guilty of anything other than leaving their children alone and vulnerable. All the other speculation about them having killed her or sold her is nothing more than speculation and is defamatory. As for the stuff about their personal lives and IVF and her nickname at Uni it's pathetic and serves no purpose other than sensationalism to sell newspapers. I wasn't aware of how bad the things had been which had been published because I don't read such tripe.
