Got it wrong! Sorry. It was the Nuttall's Brewery of Little Harwood, Blackburn, which became known as Matthew Brown Lion Brewery after the takeover.

Ithink that the Castle pub on Whalley road in Accy used to serve Lion bitter. That would have been about 10 years ago when Colin & Janet ran it.
