I wholeheartedly agree with you that we can and should do better, the club and our league position at the end of this season is in the hand of the manager and the players no one else, we’ve all seen what the club can do in the face of adversity, no more so than last season, what is worrying me is our frailer to learn week in week out, we’re proven time and time again we can mix it and match the best of them but then we let ourselves down with lack lustre performances not worthy of Sunday League.
I still believe that this is a leadership issue and that to progress the club and all those within it need to open up and be cuttingly honest, if that dictates people leaving then so be it. Has for history, a football club is no different from a Squadron, Regiment or Unit, the people change constantly some fall in Battle, some aren’t fit to serve, some go on to lead. What is important is the history, the consistency of performance and the will to learn the lesson taught on the field, which we are failing to do.
