I think (correct me if I'm wrong, Blazey) that Blazey was referring to people who claim benefits that they are not entitled to because they are working.
There's nothing wrong with what you're doing, Yolanda. You're entitled to claim working tax credit and child tax credit whilst working. They are tax credits, not benefits.
