I'm at Keele University and whenever I tell people I'm from Oswaldtwistle they are always like 'You just made that up.... that doesn't exist!!!!' or my favourite 'Is that like Narnia or something!'.
It makes me giggle when they try and pronounce it or spell it because to me Oswaldtwistle is the norm, to the people around the country it's a weirdo name! haha
Does anyone else know of any weird named places around England?! (apart from the rude named towns that everyone knows about
)
