Pic c/o OTMP</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Farnborough Town have been awarded a grant of nearly £400,000 for major development work at Cherrywood Road.
The Football Foundation, via its Football Stadium Improvement Fund, has allocated £394,265 for the club to build a new 2,500-capacity terrace. This will include facilities for disabled spectators. Other improvement work will include safety enhancements and a better sightline from in front of the main stand.
The grant represents around 85% of the total costs of the scheme and the club are working towards going to tender next month with the aim of work starting in the summer.
