Ahhh, memories ! I grew up on Christchurch St and spent many hours "up the park". We had dens in the rock gardens ( the rockies to us) and played cricket on the grass, we played off ground tig on the roundabout and on the war memorial (
) and we sometimes got treated to a game of bowls with my parents.
Happy days and it's great to see the park looking so good again.
