Well speaking as a delivery driver myself most delivery companies do follow the same ways as tesco where you sign for the item/s and check. If there is any damage you are covered by various different means. There is nothing worse than when you deliver something being asked stupid questions like what is it? How the hell do i know you ordered it. Is it for me? I have just said your name havent i? I dont have time for people to check the things i deliver thats why i always put unchecked next to their names but some still get stroppy and say well i aint signing for it then. Simple answer to that for me.... ill take it back then goodbye and all of a suden they change their minds, strange.
