I never quoted that amount, but I do know that prices increased substantially and when long time sponsors were given the new 'subscription' price, they did not renew. I understand that prices increase, but losing long time financial supporters is a dangerous game to play. You might be able to step on people on the way up, but don't expect them to be there when you're on your way back down.
As for the boredom factor, then I agree wholeheartedly. Nothing ever seems to change and for every step forward, there a backward step just around the corner.
Maybe I've said too much and I should just learn to be quiet and relax?
