I remember dancing to all the oldies,at the Empress Ballroom at Burnley ,,Monday,s and Thursdays,,Elvis,Roy Orbison, Everly brothers,(Neil Sedaka when he had a squeaky voice,ie Oh Carol.and One way ticket.)
Saturday it was big band stuff,,Glen Miller etc,,,
