Just seen this post, can't see anyone wanting to convert a diesel to gas, the engine wouldn't last 2 mins, compression ratios are totally different on gas and petrol cars to diesel ones, diesels aren't built to rev as much as petrol/gas either, put petrol in a diesel engine, compress it, ignite it and stand well clear
You sure it isn't a diesel/gas mix in the taxi? thats possible but doesn't save you a great deal so people don't bother getting it done
