Re: Rewarding parents
How sad.
Things like reading to your children and attending school's parents evenings should be done by all parents without the need for financial incentives.
To see their child happy and well educated should be all the incentive parents need.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs, cackling and telling me
'You'll be next.' They stopped when I started doing the same to them at funerals.
