Yes I agree with tichno1 about Backbeat. If you have a drum kit and a good sense of rhythm though you can start teaching yourself. I'm pretty much self taught except for the odd helping hand from my Dad.
My advice would also be watch loads of bands music videos and listen to song after song payin particular attention to the drum beat. Even if your sat on the bus, tap it out on your knees. Also try and go to a few gigs.
