The changes have to be agreed by all 27 member countries. Can you see the French agreeing to this?

I initially read it and didn't give it a second thought, because like everyone else, I've become so conditioned to accepting the dictates of the EU. But then I started thinking about how ridiculous the situation has become...a British Chancellor, elected by us, want to make changes in the UK and he can't because someone from another country says so. Sorry, but isn't this what we fought two world wars to prevent?

Is there much point in pretending that we live in an independent country anymore, because it certainly doesn't feel like it to me.
