Re: How popular is your name?
Mine has never been a particularly popular name, but I was surprised to find that it was number 462 in the fifties. It originates from the name Nicole (which I knew, lengthened to Nicolette, then shortened again to Colette) The site says it means Victory of the people. That surprised me a bit, as Nicole comes from Nicholas and in the most popular baby name books around Nicole means the same as Nicholas 'Protector of children' Guess I'm in the right job then..
