Crop Circles
One evening a few days ago just as the day was saying goodbye to welcome in the oncoming night, the dry spell of several days was broken by the gentle pitter, patter of rain drops falling on the semi parched earth. As darkness shrouded everything the temperature dropped several degrees and the flowers folded in their floral petals.
A tiny light appeared in the sky but it was not a star. The low rain clouds obscured the heavens above as this mysterious light broke through the clouds and slowly but surely grew in size and brightness.
What gentle breeze had ruffled the leaves on the trees fell to a stillness that you only get in a desert. All was still as the bright light revealed itself to be a craft of unknown origin that descended silently. About 6 feet in diameter and a couple of feet tall it spun to a halt in the centre of my garden as it landed silently and menacingly.
The visitor only stayed a few moments and lifted silently skywards as quickly as it came. A breeze sprang up as if in relief that the intruder had come, been and gone and once again gently rustled the leaves on the trees and bent the grass.
Next morning it was clear for all to see that the foliage in the centre of my garden had been laid flat into a crop circle.
I couldn’t get high enough to show the crop circle in all its glory.
