Thought, I would stick it on here. Whilst Googling for the article, I came across this, Council asks residents to empty their own, because they are too heavy for binmen - Mail Online …nowt like bare faced cheek is there.

was a story in last sats mail, about a family who had their bin left cos it was too heavy, the men had to be able to move it with 2 fingers the council said, or the automatic lifter would break. never heard so much crap in my life, so long as its filled with household rubbish,as this was, it aint the bloody householders fault if equipment can't lift it.
