Like the Karma thread if we delete a post for some reason and another member has quoted that post it has to be edited or deleted as well .
with all the quoting going on which really is not needed as the post is there anyway it makes it hard to edit threads and delete individual posts.
also if we have to do what Len says a mass delete of off topic posts that have gone way off thread then there is no way we are sitting here sending pm's out to every member to explain why.
it would just take too much time.
if its just the odd post then i tend to pm the person and explain but not every time.
so if your posting in a thread that has gone way off thread and you know it has then be prepared for the post to be deleted with any other off thread posts without a pm.
or your post edited if you quoted an off thread post
