There is a world of difference between a wandering thread and an abusive or unpleasant interlude. Of course personal abuse should be reported/deleted but a natural digression in a thread is just that - natural. From what I have seen in 99% of cases the thread either returns to it's original theme or dies off.
In common with a few others it wouldn't be the end of my world if a post of mine were deleted. Come to think of it - it may have happened - it certainly once did on another website I haunt (I was naughty and used too many asterisks. I thought what I said was light-hearted but their mods thought it was too.....rude.
) Can I say this again without upsetting you (or being deleted)? It's only a bl**dy website.
