Of course: it's a safe topic. You can meet a total stranger in the street, nod, and say "nice day, eh" (you can only use "eh" if you are a Canuck) and everything is cool. The weather is not divisive like sex, politics, and religion. You don't get suicide bombers blowing up people who prefer drizzle to hail.
And in Kingston today: 26 degrees .... 5 degrees cooler by the lake ... sunny, with a few light clouds.
