My grandaughter is staying with me for a few days, and when it was announced that she would have to bring Wilma with her, had a fairly negative reaction. I must admit I have fallen for her .. she is sooo sweet and does appear to have a personality .. not what you associate with a reptile.
Don't think for one minute she is slow walking across my floors, have to keep a keen eye on her. She is well looked after, as advised by the vet, so no worries there, and don't think you can just plonk them in the garden as was the custom years ago. She cost quite a bit of money too, but I now consider well speant; my 18 year old grandaughter absolutely adores her. At the moment she is 4 1/2" long ... 5" when she pops out her head.. 16 - 20" is predicted at adulthood.
Go on admit it, she is sweet, 'ain't she.
