Someone on the Times website made an interesting comment.

They said to this effect, why does knife crime happen? They then suggested that it is because we don't stop and search the people most likely to be carrying knives, in other words suggesting we should be stereotyping young people who 'look like the sort'.

What do you think?

I think she actually has a point as sad as that is.
