Well there i was today minding my own business when out of nowhere i heard
"psst... come here"
i looked around and found the voice to be coming from an antiques shop
"yeah you ....psst .... quick come here"
after a while i realized that this was the same thing us women hear when a nice pair of shoes has just been put onto the sale shelves....
no shoes to be seen but a gorgeous old partners desk from george v period
this may seem sad but i love grotty old banged up (ahem) furniture and i wanted it
i rang the other half and offfered just about everything but my life but he would not see any sense at all - we had no room to put it
... aparently- so he's going to be on the wagon for a while if you know what i mean
so what kind of things do you offer to get what you want
(maybe i should have put this in the over 18's) lol
