That reminds me of my spa holiday on the Isle of Ischia.
I wanted a neck and back massage but needed to tell the young woman that I had spine problems. It took me a while with a dictionary to get it right, so I wrote it down and presented her with it. Maybe you could do the same - will be easier than memorising it.
