Yes, Basil did frequent Village Blacksmith as did former hubby after work .. grrrrh. Quite liked him and Sally actually.
Think he made a bit of killing selling the land he owned down Lower Barnes Street for housing development, and had his own house built there (I think). At the end of Rishton Road down the little grit path, there are gates which announce 'Basil Dean' .. so guess that is it. |
If I send over a plaque, and a couple of screws maybe you could ..... And Basil was a nice guy, if he lucked out, he derserved it
