There is a good reason for this: apart from Grenada, America has got into a bad habit of losing their wars. But what does this matter when, a few years later, you can win the same war in the movies

The Germans do a better job: Das Boot and Stalingrad. Altho' in Das Boot, I still get strange looks from my friends as I cheer as the RAF bomb and strafe the U-Boat .... I do it to make the point that, however good the movie, however brave the "heroes", they are still the bad guys.
