that is a total lie, the miners voted overwhelmingly to strike, n it was never about money, as the strike wore on into months, the Nottingham miners went back to work n the others remained on strike.as i was responsible fer taking a weekly collection at work,from those who wished to support em (were many) n visiting differant areas, mainly in yorkshire, i know damn well they wished to remain out as it was a matter of principle (jobs not money) i also know a lot more involving the police about that dispute, but its wasted on you.
